He grew eBay's Half.com from zero to 8 million registered users as its VP of Marketing in less than three years!!! And if you don't find THAT to be incredibly impressive, then think about this: He also literally put Half.com on the map by convincing Halfway, Oregon to rename itself to Half.com, Oregon...dubbed by Time magazine as "one of the greatest publicity coups" in history!!! This Mark Hughes is an awesome guy to read about! eBay later bought the company just six months after and they launched for over $300 million. It's so awesome that he managed to get "Halfway" to "Half.com"! And he wrote a book about how he did just that, and it's also about Buzzmarketing, as he is a marketing speaker.
